We really wanted to go to on to a Baseball game, mostly to see inside the park. We went with a bunch of Marks classmates. Creighton's opening game was against BYU and it gave us a perfect excuse to go. The weather was amazing! First part of March and it hit 80 degrees the day we went. Great conditions for a good game. We sat in the student section and I cheered for BYU but only quietly, I didn't want to cause a scene with any Creighton students. My husband goes to Creighton, not me. I was gonna cheer for who I wanted to. My cheering wasn't enough and the Cougs lost, but it was a fun night.

Darn Flat Stanley!
So our Nephew has been reading a book called Flat Stanley. We haven't read it, but I guess it's about a guy who gets flattened somehow and is blown all over the world. We got our own Flat Stanley in the mail and trying to think of places to take Stanley was a little hard. We took him to the zoo, The Ameritrade Center (NCAA world series is played there) and we took him to this Pedestrian bridge that goes over the Missouri river. It's the border for Iowa and Nebraska. Easy task, right? Well halfway through our trek inside the zoo, Stanley decided he was sick of staying put and flew away, out of my purse. We didn't realize he had flown away until we reached to pull him out for a picture and he wasn't there. We frantically searched all around the zoo, hoping he wasn't chilling on the horn of a gazelle or even worse the grasps of a small random child. Luckily he was just catching some rays on the grass in front of the kangaroos. We will be sad to say goodbye to good Stanley, he brought us many memories.
The Desert Dome is in the background, you walk in and it is set to be at desert conditions.
We couldn't get inside and this was the best picture we could get.
Pretty Omaha!
Border line and the Missouri River. Mark is the best looking thing in this Picture!
