Unofficially employed and temporarily unemployed.

So I've been trying to find a job, someone has to be Mark's sugar mama while he's in school (I probably won't make enough to technically get called a sugar mama, but I'll make more than him).  After my 1st interview I got the job I wanted, I guess I'm just too likeable and charming.  I've always done good in interviews, which is strange because I'm pretty shy and in interview situations I always get so shaky that I literally have to bite my tongue to keep my mouth from shaking.  The job will be working at a school and that's exactly what I want, coming home for Christmas and a little bit in the summer, who could ask for anything better.  Well the problem is it started last Wednesday the 17th and my background check for the lovely state of Nebraska has not made it's way back to the school district and I can't be completely hired until they see I'm clean.  Thus I am unofficially employed and temporarily unemployed.  Mark started school on the 15th and I have been stuck in the apartment.  All the mom's in little BYU go outside with their children and talk with the other mom's.  I would love to join, but the problem is I am without child, and feel awkward joining the clan.  I really hope my papers come soon.
